MTF is a very cool mix of techincal riding and singletrack, making strong use of natural features, especially large rocks. It's a LOT of riding packed into a currently marked 6.5-7 mile loop that will give your legs and bike handling skills a nice challenge. LOTS of switchbacks and quick climbs and quick descents -- certainly not a place for flow and swoop, but great to have some fun and push your legs/ lungs. Kudos to Bill for building such fantastic trails!
The trail head is located at the large field parking lot of the Southwick Zoo. Park at the far end of the field next to the woods and you can see a fire road heading in; park there and stay respectful of the family enviornment.
